The tech features are what sold me on this concept. The infotainment system and connectivity options seem class-leading for the price. Really impressed with the value proposition here.

I've been checking online forums, and some owners report excellent reliability so far, which is encouraging. However, I'm still cautious about recommending it until we have more years of data.

The fuel efficiency is another strong point. Real-world consumption figures would be helpful. Anyone with actual ownership experience yet?

I'm leaning towards test driving one soon. The pricing structure seems fair, and the feature set is genuinely compelling. Has anyone here actually booked a test drive yet?

The practicality aspect is often overlooked. How much boot space does it offer? Is it suitable for families who need to carry gear regularly?

The driving experience matters most to me. Kevin mentioned the handling is competent - can you elaborate on steering feel and suspension characteristics? Is it fun to drive or just functional?

I appreciate the update, Kevin. I'm cautiously optimistic now, but I'll wait another year or two before considering a purchase. More real-world data would help convince skeptics like me.

While I appreciate the enthusiasm, let's not overlook the fact that dealer networks are still limited. This could be a significant issue when it comes to servicing and warranty claims.

Thanks for the detailed write-up, Kevin! The Changan Deepal S05 does look impressive on paper. Have you had any concerns about long-term reliability given that Changan is still relatively new to many markets outside China?
