The voice control improvements are nice, but honestly, most people just want a reliable family car that starts every morning. All these fancy features add complexity and more things to break.

The blind-spot monitoring on the new model is supposedly much improved. This matters a lot with a vehicle this size. Anyone have experience with the current generation's system?

I appreciate the discussion. To address the maintenance cost concern @sarah_lim raised - early reports suggest the new hybrid system is more robust and requires fewer fluid changes. Extended intervals should help keep costs manageable.

One thing I'm curious about is how the new touchscreen integrates with both Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. My family uses different phones, so compatibility is essential.
