I have to push back again. The Bronco has gotten significant updates already since its reintroduction. Better powertrains, improved suspension tuning, tech upgrades - Ford hasn't been sitting idle.

But the Wrangler DID get refreshed regularly. That's the whole point. Ford can't expect to coast forever on brand nostalgia alone. Competition is fierce.

This article is spot on. Manufacturers optimize for profit, not for customer satisfaction. As long as we keep buying, they have no reason to invest in innovation. It's on us, the consumers.

The economics of vehicle production favor established platforms. A complete redesign would cost billions. Ford is betting they can squeeze more profitability out of the current generation, and they're probably right.

What if Ford knows something we don't? Maybe a major refresh is already in the pipeline but they're keeping it quiet. Companies don't usually announce these things until they're ready.

The real question is whether Ford is forward-thinking enough to refresh before they lose momentum. Waiting until sales drop is reactive, not proactive. That's where companies stumble.

People said the same thing about the Wrangler before its refresh, and look at it now - still selling like crazy. Platform longevity isn't always a death sentence for sales if the product is solid.
