The gullwing doors are iconic and honestly, once you own one, you'll never want a regular car again. Sure they're unique, but that's the entire point of owning something this special.

Can we talk about insurance on this? I have a feeling it's going to be brutal. The SLS AMG isn't exactly mainstream anymore, so good luck finding reasonable quotes.

The gullwing doors actually work great even in tight spaces - I've seen plenty of parking lot footage online. They swing up and back, so you don't need much side clearance. Not as big a deal as people think.

The 6.2L naturally aspirated V8 is the last of its kind in production Mercedes. That alone makes this car special. No turbos, no hybrid nonsense - just pure mechanical perfection.

Anyone considering one of these needs to budget at least $10-15k annually for maintenance. The parts aren't cheap, and labor on AMG work is always premium pricing. Just being realistic here.

With 4,900 miles, this car is basically new. I'd be more concerned about the previous owner's storage conditions and whether it was on a proper battery tender. Long periods of inactivity can cause other issues.

If you love Mercedes performance cars and want something truly special, the SLS is hard to beat. That gullwing design is timeless. Just make sure you have a trusted independent mechanic who knows these cars.
