Re: Kansas Roundabout Signal Law: Drivers Must Signal When Exiting Circles
I wonder if this will include fines for violations. Need some teeth on these laws to change driver behavior.

I've driven roundabouts in Europe and signaling is just standard practice there. The US is late to the game on this.

Question: will police officers actually enforce this, or will it be another law that looks good on paper but doesn't get implemented?

You people act like roundabouts are death traps. They're not. This is just more bureaucratic nonsense that won't actually prevent accidents.

Rizky makes a fair point. Enforcement will determine whether this actually changes behavior. Hopefully Kansas commits resources to making it effective.

I'm moving to Kansas soon and glad to hear they're serious about road safety. This is one of the things I liked about driving in other countries.

Everyone complaining about enforcement but we all know cops won't ticket for this. It's performative legislation.

This should have been standard everywhere already. Roundabouts are actually more efficient when drivers communicate properly through signals. Kansas is doing the right thing.
