I'm trying to find official specs on the braking system. Ceramic brakes should be standard, right? And I'm wondering about tire size and compound specifications. Performance tires will be crucial for this level of machine.

The performance numbers we've heard about are mind-blowing. 700+ horsepower would put this right in supercar territory. Combined with the lighter weight compared to competitors, the acceleration should be brutal.

Look, I'm not trying to be negative, but the Corvette has never handled the extreme heat and track stress like purpose-built supercars. The engine reliability at full performance for extended periods is still unproven compared to Ferrari or Porsche. That matters.

The connectivity features and infotainment system will be important too. Modern supercars have integrated telemetry and performance tracking. I hope Chevy includes that for track days.

I'm hearing rumors about limited production numbers. If that's true, resale value could be strong. These models might actually appreciate, especially the ZR1X variants. That would be unprecedented for American sports cars.

Does anyone know if they're planning special edition colors for the ZR1? I'd love to see some retro throwback paint schemes to honor Corvette history, especially those classic Le Mans Blue or Sebring Silver options.

The suspension geometry improvements are what I'm most excited about. Adaptive dampers with proper calibration could make this car handle like a dream. I'm hoping they don't cheap out on the suspension components.

Anyone planning to track one of these immediately after purchase? That's my goal. I want to take it to a real track and see how it performs in real conditions, not just manufacturer claims.
