2026 Lexus LS Heritage Edition - Photo Gallery Discussion

Post by david28 »

Hey everyone! I just checked out the new photo gallery for the 2026 Lexus LS Heritage Edition on Car and Driver, and I have to say, this thing looks absolutely stunning. Lexus really nailed the design on this one.

The Heritage Edition seems to pay homage to classic Lexus styling while incorporating modern luxury elements. The exterior photos show some beautiful details - the front grille design is elegant, and the overall proportions look really balanced. I'm particularly impressed with how they've managed to blend traditional and contemporary aesthetics.

What caught my eye in the photos is the attention to detail. The chrome accents look premium, and the paint finish appears to be incredibly rich in these shots. The side profile is particularly sleek, and you can see the careful thought that went into every curve and surface.

On the interior side, the photos showcase what looks like a really upscale cabin. I can see premium leather, modern tech integration, and that signature Lexus minimalist approach to the dashboard layout. The lighting in the cabin shots really highlights the quality of the materials they've used.

I'd love to hear what you all think about this Heritage Edition. Are you impressed by the design direction? Does anyone think this is a worthy update to the LS nameplate? I'm curious if any of you are considering one or if you have concerns about the new generation.

Feel free to drop your thoughts on specific design elements, features you like or dislike, or anything else about this Heritage Edition. Looking forward to the discussion!

The color options shown in the gallery are beautiful. I'm particularly drawn to that darker metallic finish they featured. That's going to look stunning in person.

Has anyone considered the maintenance costs on these? Lexus service is getting pretty expensive. The Heritage Edition probably comes with premium pricing for repairs and maintenance too.

Thanks everyone for jumping in! @james.clark - that's a valid concern. I've heard maintenance on the new LS runs about $1,500-2,000 per service visit, which is higher than competitors. But the build quality seems worth it based on these photos.

The cabin design looks so refined. I really appreciate that they kept things uncluttered without going minimalist to the point of being cold. This is how a luxury car should feel.

I'm not entirely convinced by the new front end design. To me, it looks a bit too aggressive for what should be a refined luxury sedan. The previous generation had more elegance.

The exterior shots remind me why I've always respected Lexus design. They're not trying to be flashy; they're being sophisticated. This Heritage Edition nails that balance perfectly.

I have to disagree with the direction here. I think they've made the LS too complicated looking. The Heritage name suggests simplicity and tradition, but the design feels overworked to me.

The photo gallery really showcases the attention to detail. You can see the craftsmanship in every shot. This is a serious competitor in the luxury sedan market.
