Re: Brilliant Engineering Solution: How Chevy Shipped Vegas Vertically by Train
The real story here is probably about cost reduction during an era of tight margins. But that maintenance cost factor was likely huge. Dealers probably had to perform significant inspections and adjustments on arrival.

Re: Brilliant Engineering Solution: How Chevy Shipped Vegas Vertically by Train
The maintenance cost for vehicles shipped this way must have been astronomical. Any structural damage from vertical stacking would require expensive repairs before they could be sold. How did they handle warranty claims?

2027 Kia Telluride Hybrid Price Jump: $7300 More Than Gas Model
Hey everyone! Just saw the pricing for the 2027 Kia Telluride Hybrid and wanted to start a discussion about it. The hybrid version is coming in at $7300 more than the standard nonhybrid model, which is a pretty significant premium. I'm seriously considering getting a new Telluride and trying to ...

Re: 2027 Kia Telluride Hybrid Price Jump: $7300 More Than Gas Model

Re: Changan Deepal S05 - First Impressions and Ownership Thoughts
I'm leaning towards test driving one soon. The pricing structure seems fair, and the feature set is genuinely compelling. Has anyone here actually booked a test drive yet?

Re: Luxury SUV Dealers Relaxed About Chinese Competition - Big Mistake?
This is an important discussion. I think the real issue isn't whether Chinese brands are good—many clearly are—but whether Western consumers will accept them in the luxury segment. Luxury is partly psychological. That said, I do think complacency is dangerous.

Re: Luxury SUV Dealers Relaxed About Chinese Competition - Big Mistake?
I have to agree with rizky about maintenance costs. I looked up service costs for a popular Chinese luxury brand and they're already competitive with European dealers. That's changing the equation. If you can save money upfront AND on ownership, Western brands lose leverage.

I'm excited to see more restomods like this one. The future of classic cars looks bright with companies like Evoluto at the helm.
