They charged me $60 just to read a check engine light that turned out to be a loose gas cap. A LOOSE GAS CAP. I could've figured that out myself for free. The diagnostic fee should have been waived once they realized it wasn't actually a problem.

The battery replacement markup is absolutely wild too. $80 core charge, $120 labor, and the battery itself is another $200 when you can get the same battery online for $80 total. That's a 300% markup at least.
