Re: 5 Manual Transmission Cars That Crush Their Automatic Versions in Acceleration
This is really interesting! I've always thought automatics were faster, but I guess manual transmission cars with proper driving technique can surprise you. The driver skill factor is huge here though. Not everyone can extract maximum acceleration from a manual.

The driver variable really changes things. A skilled manual driver vs an average automatic driver might show a big difference. But comparing equally skilled drivers, I still think automatics have the edge in most modern scenarios.

Re: New Lotus Elise Inokinetic 111RS: $110K Lightweight Beast or Overpriced Nostalgia?
I respect the design direction. Not trying to be everything to everyone. The original Elise was revolutionary because it was uncompromising. If they've captured that spirit here, it could be something special for the right owner.

Has anyone actually seen real performance figures yet? 0-60 times, handling metrics, top speed? Those would be the real test of whether this engineering philosophy pays off in measurable ways. Pure philosophy without performance is just expensive minimalism.

The interior tech looks absolutely stunning from the leaked images. Land Rover has always been good at combining luxury with practicality, and the minimalist EV approach fits that philosophy well.

The sustainability angle is huge here too. Luxury brands need to address climate concerns, and going electric is the right move. The saloon design just makes the statement even stronger.

I'm excited about the affordability. It opens up EVs to a wider market.
