This has to be about the Dodge Challenger and Charger, right? Those manual versions are known to be quicker than their automatic counterparts. But honestly, in modern traffic conditions, I'd still pick the automatic for convenience.

The real question is whether this trend will continue. With electric vehicles becoming more common, both manual and automatic transmissions might become obsolete. This discussion might be about the past soon.
