Still skeptical about drawing conclusions. Seat mechanisms are well-understood automotive components. Fatal failures would be extraordinarily rare unless there was a major design flaw affecting all units. Let's see evidence first.

Before we all panic, let's wait for NHTSA to investigate. One incident doesn't automatically mean the seat design is fundamentally flawed. There could be other factors involved.

I respectfully disagree with the reliability concerns being overstated here. Modern Aston Martins, especially the later Vanquishes, are quite solid. Yes, they're expensive to maintain, but that's true of any exotic. The real question is whether you love it enough to own it, and clearly you do.
