This is incredible news! The 2027 E-Ray sounds like exactly what performance cars need. Combining electric torque with a traditional engine is genius. This is actually pretty significant. Chinese manufacturers have come a long way in recent years. If Chery offers competitive pricing on the KP31, they could genuinely disrupt the Australian market. The pickup segment is huge here, so there's definitely demand.

Honestly, I give them a good shot at capturing maybe 10-15% of the market within five years if they execute properly. Young owners and first-time truck buyers might be their target demographic. They don't have the brand baggage and might appreciate the value proposition.
