2028 Audi Q9 - First Look and Initial Impressions

Hey everyone! I've been following the development of the 2028 Audi Q9 and I'm absolutely impressed with what Audi is bringing to the luxury SUV market. This is their flagship three-row offering and it looks like they're really stepping up their game.

From what I've gathered, the Q9 will feature a completely redesigned interior with the latest MMI infotainment system, improved AI integration, and a stunning digital dashboard. The exterior styling is more aggressive and modern compared to previous generations, with sharper lines and a more imposing grille that really defines Audi's new design language.

Power options appear to include both conventional and plug-in hybrid variants, with the top models potentially reaching impressive acceleration figures. The platform seems optimized for handling despite the larger dimensions, and the adaptive suspension technology should provide a smooth ride.

What really caught my attention is the enhanced interior space - the three-row configuration offers genuine comfort for all passengers, not just the first two rows. Build quality should be exceptional given Audi's reputation, though I'm curious about long-term reliability.

I'm also interested in the autonomous driving capabilities they're incorporating. The 2028 Q9 appears to have Level 3 autonomy ready, which would be a significant advancement.

Has anyone else been following the Q9 development? What are your thoughts on this flagship SUV? Are you considering it as your next vehicle? Would love to hear perspectives from other Audi enthusiasts here!

The plug-in hybrid variant is what I'm most interested in. Combine luxury with fuel efficiency? Sign me up. Does anyone know the estimated mpg for the PHEV version?

I'm skeptical about the build quality claims. Audi has had some issues with certain components in recent years. The Q9 better deliver on its promises or they'll lose customers to Mercedes and BMW.

Anyone talking about maintenance costs yet? I've heard Audi service appointments aren't cheap. The 2028 Q9 with all these new technologies might be expensive to maintain long-term.

The 2028 Q9 looks incredible! I've been eyeing this model for months now. The interior refinement seems light-years ahead of the competition. Really excited about the MMI infotainment system upgrades.

I prefer the sharper styling direction they're taking with the Q9. The previous generation looked too rounded. This new design is much more premium and distinctive.

The autonomous driving features are genuinely impressive. Level 3 autonomy on a production vehicle by 2028 is ambitious, but if anyone can pull it off, it's Audi with their engineering expertise.

The three-row configuration is perfect for families. My current SUV struggles with third-row space, so the Q9 would be an upgrade. Pricing will be the deciding factor for me though.

Thanks for the discussion everyone! To address the maintenance concerns - I've been doing research and Audi's extended warranty options seem more attractive this generation. They're clearly aware of ownership costs being a factor in luxury vehicle purchases.

Not convinced about the price point. Premium features are great, but value for money against competitors like the BMW X7 and Mercedes GLS seems questionable. Thoughts?
