2027 Cadillac Escalade First Impressions - Worth the Upgrade?

Just got the chance to see the 2027 Cadillac Escalade in person and I have to say, Cadillac really stepped up their game this year. The new design is sleek with those refined lines and the interior is absolutely gorgeous. The updated infotainment system with the larger touchscreen is a massive improvement over previous generations.

I'm particularly impressed with the new engine options and the refined suspension system. The ride quality seems noticeably smoother compared to my 2024 model. The luxury features are incredible - the panoramic sunroof, the ambient lighting, and those premium leather seats are world-class.

However, I'm a bit concerned about the pricing. The base model has jumped significantly, and I'm wondering if it's worth the premium compared to competitors like the Lincoln Navigator and Range Rover. The fuel economy hasn't improved much either, which is disappointing given today's gas prices.

The technology integration is top-notch though. The new driver assistance features and the augmented reality display are genuinely useful. The cargo space is still massive, which is great for families like mine.

I'm leaning towards ordering one, but I'd love to hear what others think about this new generation. Are any of you considering making the jump to 2027?

I'm honestly not impressed with the price increase. For that kind of money, you could get a fully loaded Range Rover with better fuel economy. Cadillac needs to justify these costs better.

The 2027 Escalade looks fantastic from the photos I've seen. That new interior design with the horizontal dashboard layout is really modern. How does the seat comfort compare to the 2024 model?

Good point sofia30, but I think the Escalade offers better interior luxury and that new tech package is genuinely innovative. The Range Rover feels outdated by comparison now. Plus, resale value on Cadillacs has been strong lately.

The engine options are what sold me on this generation. More power, better efficiency than before. Really solid upgrade from my 2022 Escalade.

That panoramic sunroof is gorgeous but I'm worried about reliability issues. Sunroofs tend to develop problems. Anyone else concerned about this?

Does anyone know about the maintenance costs on the 2027 model? I've heard Cadillac maintenance can get really expensive, especially with the new technology. That's my biggest concern right now.

I test drove one last month and honestly, the steering felt a bit too light for me. Prefer the heavier steering on my current model. Might be a dealbreaker for some people.

The tech in the 2027 is incredible. That augmented reality display actually makes navigation so much easier. Worth the upgrade just for that feature alone.

The cargo space is still king though. I need an SUV that can handle my family and all the gear. The Escalade delivers on that front better than anything else out there.
