Hey everyone! I just checked out the exterior gallery for the upcoming 2026 Subaru Uncharted and I'm really impressed with what Subaru is doing here. This new model looks like a significant step forward in their design language. The front grille has a more aggressive stance compared to previous generations, and the overall proportions seem more SUV-focused, which aligns with market trends.

The LED headlight design is particularly striking - they've gone with a more angular approach that gives the vehicle a modern, confident look. The body lines appear more defined and sculptural, especially along the sides. I noticed they've maintained Subaru's signature hexagonal grille shape but refined it considerably.

What really stands out to me is the wheel arch design and the way they've integrated the doors and windows. The panoramic roof area looks spacious, and the roofline tapers nicely toward the rear. The rear end seems well-proportioned with integrated taillights that have that contemporary LED styling.

The paint options visible in the gallery look fantastic - they appear to have several color choices ranging from traditional silvers and blacks to what looks like some more vibrant options. The overall stance suggests good ground clearance, which is important for an 'Uncharted' branded vehicle meant for adventure.

I'm curious what everyone else thinks about this design direction. Does it appeal to you? Are there any specific design elements you particularly like or dislike? The exterior proportions are excellent. That roofline sweep and the way the body panels flow into one another shows real attention to detail. The ground clearance looks substantial too, which should help with that 'uncharted' adventure angle they're going for.

Not going to lie, I'm not a fan of this direction. The grille looks too aggressive for a Subaru, and it's starting to look like every other SUV on the market. I preferred the more understated aesthetic of their previous models. This feels like they're chasing trends instead of staying true to their heritage.

The exterior looks solid for the price point we're expecting. Nothing revolutionary, but it's a clean, professional design that should age well. Good job by Subaru's design team on this one.

Does anyone else think the body is a bit too boxy? I mean, I get the utilitarian appeal, but aerodynamics matter for fuel efficiency and highway driving. Would have preferred a bit more curve and flow to the design.

Looking at these photos, I have to say the design is growing on me more and more. The side profile especially has great proportions. I'm just concerned about maintenance and repair costs down the line - all these modern LED lights and sensors can get expensive when something goes wrong.

Looking at it again, I still think it's trying too hard. The aggressive front end doesn't match Subaru's brand values. Give me the classic Subaru look any day - understated, reliable, and not trying to shout from the rooftops.
