I disagree that this is necessarily a major issue. Every manufacturer has recalls these days - it's actually a sign that the safety systems are working as intended. Ford caught it, they're fixing it. Not a big deal in my opinion.

I think some people are overreacting here. Recalls are normal. The fact that Ford is proactively addressing this shows they care about their customers. Just call your dealer and book an appointment.

Does anyone know how long the repair takes? I'm trying to figure out if I need to arrange alternative transportation while mine is in the shop.
