Mansory's execution is flawless as always. Their two-door conversions have always been special. The real question is whether the G-Class platform was the right choice for this treatment, or if something like the SL would have been better suited.

Okay but can we talk about how impractical a two-door G-Wagen actually is? These are utility vehicles at their core. Losing the rear doors completely defeats the purpose for me.

I have to disagree with david.tan here. Even for ultra-wealthy collectors, there's a breaking point where the cost-to-enjoyment ratio becomes ridiculous. This two-door feels like it crosses that threshold.

All premium luxury requires premium maintenance investment. That's not a bug, that's a feature if you're in this market segment. The type of buyer for this car isn't worried about $5K service visits.

I keep coming back to the fact that this is art more than transportation. It's a rolling sculpture that happens to be drivable. From that perspective, the price suddenly makes more sense to me.

Design is subjective but the execution is objectively flawless. Mansory doesn't make mistakes. That said, this is definitely an expensive joke that only collectors who have 'fuck it' money will ever appreciate.

The craftsmanship details in that interior are incredible though. Hand-stitched leather, custom trim work, the attention to detail is genuinely museum-quality.
