The naturally aspirated 3.4L flat-six in this car revs to 9,000 RPM. It's such a different experience from turbocharged engines. If you value the tactile feedback and linear power delivery, this is the engine for you. The 992 turbo is faster, but it's not the same experience.

Update us once you get the PPI results! I'm really curious to see if everything checks out. A clean GT3 in manual form is genuinely rare these days, so I hope this works out for you.

Just to be clear, I'm not saying the car isn't worth the asking price, just that you shouldn't pay extra simply because mileage is low. Market conditions matter more right now. If it's priced fairly, it's a solid purchase.

The sport seats in the GT3 are comfortable even for longer drives, which is surprising for such a track-focused car. That's one of the things I appreciate about Porsche's engineering - they don't sacrifice everyday usability for performance.

The asking price for an 18k-mile manual 991 GT3 is probably around $125-140k depending on market. That's reasonable for a clean example, but not a steal. Don't let the low mileage cloud your judgment on valuation.

One important thing: verify the service intervals were followed correctly. Porsche recommends specific maintenance schedules, and skipping intervals can void warranty coverage if there's any overlap. Check all service records carefully.

The carbon ceramic brakes on these GT3s are excellent but expensive to replace. With 18k miles, you might still have plenty of pad life left, but it's worth verifying during the PPI. Also check for any cracks in the carbon ceramics if it's been parked outside.
