What color is it? The Z06 came in some beautiful options in 2002. The anniversary editions especially have held value really well. That could affect the final pricing.

Also check the paint thickness with a gauge. Low-mileage cars sometimes sit for years and can develop paint issues from storage conditions. A simple non-destructive test can reveal a lot.

The 2002 model year Z06 is special because it was the first year. However, I'd verify that all original components are still present - some owners do modifications. Check the interior for any signs of track use or modifications that might indicate hard driving.

Once you get it, plan to drive it responsibly. These cars love to run, but the first 100 miles after any long storage should be done carefully to let everything settle in properly.

Have you verified the VIN against the production records? Chevrolet keeps detailed records of Z06 production numbers. A confirmed original 2002 Z06 is worth more than a Z06 with a questionable history.
