My dealer is fully booked for the next three weeks with recall appointments. Seems like a lot of Tellurides are affected. How widespread is this really?

Has anyone had any complications after the recall repair? I want to make sure the fix actually resolves the issue and doesn't cause new problems.

Called Kia customer service and they confirmed the recall applies to my VIN. The representative said this was identified during routine testing. Makes me feel a bit better that they caught it.

My appointment is scheduled for next Friday. Fingers crossed it's as quick and painless as olivia93 described. I'll update everyone after.

I actually disagree with everyone saying this is no big deal. A recall means something was wrong at the factory. That's a design or manufacturing failure, period. Not comfortable with that.
