The infotainment updates are supposedly massive too. Finally, the Corvette interior is getting the tech it deserves. The new 2027 model year looks like a complete package - performance, technology, and style all elevated.

Still not convinced. Sports cars shouldn't be this complicated. Every additional system is another thing that can fail. I'm not anti-technology, I'm just saying a lightweight, simple V8 is a purer experience. The Corvette used to be about that.

For those worried about maintenance, remember that Chevy is backing this with comprehensive warranty coverage. The hybrid system is battle-tested in the Cadillac Lyriq and other platforms now. They're not experimenting with unproven tech.

Even with warranty, once you're out of coverage, the specialist techs for hybrid electric systems are going to charge premium rates. I've seen it with other hybrid vehicles. Just something to keep in mind when you're planning a 10-year ownership scenario.

Has anyone considered how this will perform on a track? The weight distribution and hybrid system could actually improve lap times significantly. I'd love to see some track testing data when the reviews drop.

The fact that Chevy is still offering this at a competitive price point compared to other supercars is remarkable. You're getting hybrid technology, 600+ hp, and a mid-engine sports car for less than some competitors charge for their base models.

Does anyone have details on the battery capacity? I'm wondering about the real-world range on electric-only driving and how that factors into overall efficiency. That's going to be crucial for daily usability.
