I'm really excited about this possibility. The Celica always had a special place in car culture, and bringing it back with rally credentials would be amazing. Toyota's been on a roll lately with the GR brand, so it's the perfect time.

Does anyone think they'd offer a hybrid version? Toyota seems committed to electrification. A performance hybrid Celica could be interesting, though I'd prefer a traditional turbo engine personally.

Anyone else notice the coupe body style? That's perfect for a modern Celica. The original was a coupe, and this prototype respects that heritage while looking completely contemporary. Great design choice by Toyota.

I just realized - if this is based on WRC technology, it could have all-wheel drive as an option! That would be huge for a rally-inspired Celica. So many possibilities with this car.

The WRC connection is what really gets me excited. Imagine having some of that rally DNA in a street legal coupe. That's the kind of authenticity that makes cars special.

Just remember everyone, even Toyota sports cars can have reliability issues if not properly maintained. The new Celica would probably be fine, but keep that in mind for long-term ownership costs.
