The ground clearance specs are impressive. This should handle rocky terrain significantly better than the previous generation Raptor.

I've been looking at dealer quotes, and Raptor-spec maintenance packages are running about 30% higher than standard Rangers. Worth it if you're using the capability.

Comparing this to the Toyota Tacoma TRD Pro - the Ranger Raptor seems more refined while maintaining similar off-road prowess. Really exciting competition.

Has Ford confirmed the warranty coverage on the drivetrain? That's usually a good indicator of manufacturer confidence in the new engine.

Still not convinced on the styling. That bold grille feels forced compared to the more subtle elegance of previous designs. Just my opinion though.

The suspension geometry changes are what really caught my attention. Ford clearly listened to feedback about ride quality on longer trips.

Honestly, I disagree with all the hype. The price point will probably be too high for what you're actually getting. Regular Ranger with some upgrades would do most jobs fine.
