The lightweight construction of this V-12 is probably one of the most important factors. Engine weight directly impacts handling and acceleration, so De Tomaso clearly understands what matters for hypercar performance.

The precision manufacturing processes required to build this V-12 engine are probably extraordinary. I imagine De Tomaso has invested heavily in quality control and testing facilities. That kind of attention to detail is what separates true hypercars from pretenders.

Let's be honest, most people interested in the P900 will never actually drive it hard. It's a collector's piece, not a practical hypercar. The V-12 engine, no matter how impressive the specs, won't change that reality.

I disagree with some of the optimism here. Bringing back a brand and expecting instant success is risky. Sure, the V-12 specs look good, but execution is everything. We've seen companies stumble before. I'm cautiously hopeful but not convinced yet.

Has anyone speculated on the transmission options? The P900's V-12 power delivery needs to be matched with an exceptional gearbox. I'm curious if De Tomaso will offer manual and automatic options or just one.

I'm genuinely excited about this development in automotive engineering. The V-12 engine has such a rich history, and seeing modern technology applied to this configuration is refreshing. De Tomaso's P900 could set new benchmarks.
