The warranty coverage is generous too. Honda backs these vehicles for good reason. I appreciate a manufacturer that stands behind their product instead of loading you with options you don't need.

Has anyone compared the actual specs head-to-head? Safety ratings, towing capacity, ground clearance? The Pilot holds its own in those metrics at least.

Cost of ownership is solid, but what about long-term satisfaction? Design language matters. The Pilot looks generic next to what Kia and even Volkswagen are doing. That's why I say Honda is coasting.

Generic? I think it's clean and timeless. Not everything needs aggressive styling. The Pilot's understated design appeals to families who want practicality over flashiness. Different strokes.

Generous warranty doesn't change that the driving dynamics feel mediocre. It's comfortable but uninspiring. I want my family SUV to have more personality and engagement, not just reliability.

Tested's review seems fair to me. The Pilot does just enough and that's honest assessment. For the target market, that's perfectly fine. It's not a luxury vehicle and it's not trying to be.

I just wish Honda would modernize the cabin more. The materials and layout feel like they're from 2020. A refresh would go a long way in keeping the Pilot competitive against the newer generation competitors.

The resale value argument is underrated. Pilots hold their value better than most competitors. Combined with lower maintenance costs, total cost of ownership favors Honda for long-term owners. Run the numbers yourself.

The 3-row market is brutal right now. Everyone's cramming more features into lower prices. Honda needs to step up or risk losing market share. The Pilot can't coast on reputation alone anymore.
