I work in automotive manufacturing and can confirm this is standard practice for corrosion prevention. The powder needs to stay on during storage but absolutely should be removed before installation. It's part of proper prep work.

Disagree with the doom and gloom narrative. Consumer demand for quality vehicles remains strong. A temporary sales dip doesn't mean the market is broken. Dealers will adjust and recover.

Has anyone noticed the infotainment screen size? It looks like they went with a bigger display this time. That would address one of the common complaints I've seen about Corvettes - needing better tech integration.

Those interior photos look incredible! The build quality seems noticeably better than I expected. The seats alone look like they provide excellent support for track days. Chevy really nailed it with the ZR1X interior design.
