Just remembered, service costs for my Mini last year were over £400 for a basic check and fluid change. Factor that into regular ownership and the true cost becomes clear. Still a fun car though, just expensive to maintain properly.

The maintenance costs on these can be brutal though. I looked into ownership and the service intervals combined with parts pricing really add up. You've got premium fuel, potential electrical issues, and labor costs that rival larger vehicles. Worth keeping in mind for the total cost of ownership.
