I disagree with rizky.garcia - every manufacturer has recalls. This doesn't mean BMW quality is worse. I own a BMW and it's been extremely reliable. One recall doesn't define the entire brand. Let's not overreact here.

I disagree with people saying this reflects poorly on BMW. This is actually a sign that the safety system is working. Defects were caught, recalled, and will be fixed. This is how automotive safety should work.
