This is a perfect example of why buying 'special editions' is usually a bad financial decision. Regular M850i models hold value much better because there's actual demand. Art car editions? Not so much.

What really bothers me is how quickly the market rejected this. Jeff Koons is world-famous, BMW is premium, the M850i is desirable. Why did this collaboration fail so hard?

This is exactly why I switched to Japanese brands. BMW quality has been declining for years. These recalls keep happening and it's getting ridiculous. I feel bad for owners who are stuck with these cars.
