I have to disagree with that. BMW special editions don't appreciate like Ferrari Enzos or McLaren F1s. You're comparing apples to oranges. This thing will probably bottom out at $80-90K and stay there.

Kevin, I respectfully disagree about the Japanese comparison. The X1/9 prioritizes handling engagement over raw specs. Different philosophy, equally valid.

The handling dynamics of the X1/9 are legitimately impressive. For such an affordable package, Bertone really nailed the engineering. It's a driver's car in the truest sense.
