I just checked the NHTSA website and it looks like several BMW X5 and 3 Series models are affected. This is a major issue. BMW really needs to address quality control problems. I'm planning to schedule an appointment at my local dealership this week.

I checked my 2018 X5 and it's not on the recall list. Feeling lucky right now but also frustrated that the issue wasn't caught during production. Quality control at the factory should prevent these problems.

I disagree that this design has held up well. Looking at those photos, I can see how dated the styling actually is. The bumpers and trim pieces look very 80s to me. Don't get me wrong, I appreciate the car, but let's be honest about its era.

Nice selection of photos, Michael. Even if I had my reservations about the styling, you have to admit the Bertone brand did excellent work here.

Disagree with the negativity here. My family loves our 2025 Pilot. Cargo space is excellent, the third row actually fits real people unlike some competitors, and resale value is strong. Not everything needs to be flashy.

Generic? I think it's clean and timeless. Not everything needs aggressive styling. The Pilot's understated design appeals to families who want practicality over flashiness. Different strokes.
