I strongly disagree with the narrative that this is necessarily bad long-term. Sometimes companies need to take massive charges to clean up their balance sheet and position for the future. Stellantis might be making smart strategic moves that will pay off in 2026 and beyond.

I think people are overreacting. Stellantis reported a massive loss specifically because they're being transparent about charges. That's actually a good sign compared to companies that hide problems.
