Re: How Do Automakers Prevent Engine Wear With Auto Start-Stop Technology?
The oil circulation point is valid, but manufacturers have addressed this with improved lubrication systems that coat engine parts even when shut down. Plus, synthetic oils distribute faster than conventional oils did in older vehicles.

Re: How Do Automakers Prevent Engine Wear With Auto Start-Stop Technology?
The alternator upgrade is probably the most important component. It needs to recharge the battery much faster after each stop. Manufacturers use high-output alternators specifically for this, which actually improves the electrical system overall.

Re: VW's EV Acceleration: 1 Million EVs in 12 Years, 2 Million in Just 10 Months!
Noah, great post! I'm genuinely impressed by how VW has managed this transition. They could have ignored the EV shift like some legacy automakers, but instead they've embraced it completely.

VW's 2 million milestone is symbolic too. It sends a message to shareholders, competitors, and customers that the EV transition is happening NOW, not in some distant future.

The 2028 Q9 looks incredible! I've been eyeing this model for months now. The interior refinement seems light-years ahead of the competition. Really excited about the MMI infotainment system upgrades.

Re: 2026 Subaru Uncharted Exterior Photos - First Look at New Design
The stance looks perfect for this type of vehicle - not too aggressive, not too conservative. It sits well on the ground and doesn't feel like it's compensating for anything. Really balanced proportions overall.

Re: 2026 Subaru Uncharted Exterior Photos - First Look at New Design
I'm really digging the modern design language here. The headlights especially have that premium feel. Has anyone seen the interior photos yet? Would love to know if they've updated the cabin design to match this exterior refresh.

I've heard the RX 350 has some reliability issues. I'd be cautious before buying.
