Rear-biased AWD sounds like a solid compromise. As long as BMW keeps at least 70% of the torque going to the rear, it should still feel like an M2. The traction improvements will be noticeable in real-world driving too.

I wonder how this affects understeer and oversteer characteristics. The current M2 has a nice balance where you can provoke oversteer if you're confident. Will the AWD system intervene too much?
