Re: 2027 Audi S5 - First Impressions and Specs Discussion

The 2027 S5 looks stunning. I'm really considering trading in my 2024 model. The performance improvements alone make it worth looking at, especially that power boost.

Re: 2027 Audi S5 - First Impressions and Specs Discussion

The interior materials in the 2027 S5 are supposed to be top-tier. Has anyone had a chance to sit in one yet? I want to know if it feels as premium as it looks.

Re: New Mitsubishi L200 Arriving May 2024 - £36k Ford Ranger Competitor

£36k seems quite reasonable for a new pickup. However, I'm not convinced the L200 can really compete with Ranger's reputation and market dominance. The Ranger is just too established. But this could be good for customers who want alternatives.

Second thoughts - I do think Mitsubishi has a chance here if they price it right and back it with proper warranty. The £36k pricing is smart. Young professionals and tradespeople might prefer the L200 over an expensive Ranger.

Re: How Britain Finally Tackled Drunk Driving: A Wild Historical Journey

Really interesting piece! The 1967 breathalyzer introduction was genuinely a game-changer. Before that it was basically the honor system, which obviously failed spectacularly. The number of drunk driving deaths in the 1960s was horrifying by modern standards.

Re: How Britain Finally Tackled Drunk Driving: A Wild Historical Journey

@michaellim659 From what I've read, most European countries followed similar patterns but at different speeds. Sweden and Germany were also early adopters of strict drink-drive laws. The US was actually slower to take it seriously in some states.
