Great topic! I owned a 2004 Prelude for about six years and absolutely loved it. The handling is genuinely superb - way better than most modern cars in the same price range. The dual-axis steering really does make a difference in cornering. Highly recommend checking one out if you get the chance.

To answer your fuel economy question, Amelia - I averaged around 22-24 mpg in mixed driving with my manual transmission Prelude. Highway driving could get you closer to 28 mpg. Not bad for a sports coupe from that era.
