The 327 engine in 1968 Corvettes is so bulletproof. These engines are still running strong in cars that have over 100k miles. Really solid power plant for the era.

Thanks everyone for jumping in. I think what we're seeing is that the credit mattered FOR SOME people but not universally. Does anyone else think the body is a bit too boxy? I mean, I get the utilitarian appeal, but aerodynamics matter for fuel efficiency and highway driving. Would have preferred a bit more curve and flow to the design.
