The white powder is typically talc or clay-based, right? I read somewhere that you shouldn't let it sit on rubber components for too long because it can degrade the material over time. Has anyone experienced that?

Great start to Part IV! The Wagoneer really was ahead of its time. I remember my grandfather had one in the early 80s - that interior was something else. The wood paneling, the seating comfort... it felt like driving a living room with wheels. Modern SUVs owe everything to what Jeep accomplished here.

The Wagoneer's influence on modern Jeep design cannot be overstated. You can see design cues in current Wrangler and Grand Cherokee models. Jeep understood heritage and applied it carefully. That's why people still respect the brand despite some modern missteps.

I think Honda should have caught this issue earlier. They should be held accountable.
