Just got an email from Ford about this. They're saying it's a software update for most vehicles, which is good news. No hardware replacement needed according to the notification I received.

The trailer controller issue seems to be mostly affecting the 2018-2022 model year range based on what I've read. Might be worth checking the specific years included in the recall notice Ford sent out.

I'm worried about the range anxiety. How far will the EV version go on a single charge?

I'm more interested in the EV version. How do you think it'll compare to the ID.3?
