Re: Flock License Plate Readers Being Smashed Across the US - Why the Backlash?

I still think there's a middle ground. Police departments need better tools, and criminals are getting smarter. But Flock needs accountability. Require warrant reviews, limit data retention, establish clear policies on who can access what information. It's possible to have both security and privacy.

Re: Flock License Plate Readers Being Smashed Across the US - Why the Backlash?

I disagree with the vandalism approach, but I understand the frustration. These Flock cameras should have strict oversight and transparent data handling policies. Re: 2026 Subaru Uncharted Exterior Photos - First Look at New Design

Looking at it again, I still think it's trying too hard. The aggressive front end doesn't match Subaru's brand values. Give me the classic Subaru look any day - understated, reliable, and not trying to shout from the rooftops.

Re: Changan Deepal S05 Coming to UK at £38k - Direct Elroq Competitor

Interesting move by Changan. The £38k price point is aggressive, but I'm skeptical about long-term reliability. Chinese EVs are still relatively untested in the UK market compared to Tesla or BMW. Would want to see some independent reviews first before considering it.

Re: Changan Deepal S05 Coming to UK at £38k - Direct Elroq Competitor

Also, let's be honest - how many Changan dealers are actually in the UK? Even if the car is good, if you need service in rural areas, you're potentially stuck. Infrastructure matters as much as the vehicle itself.
