The NHTSA database should have records of any complaints submitted about Palisade seats. That would be the definitive source to check what owners have reported.

This is tragic if true. Hyundai needs to be held accountable if they ignored a safety warning. Do we know what specific defect was reported? Seat failure seems like something that would be caught in standard testing.

The maintenance cost on these new AWD systems is going to be brutal. More complexity, more parts, more things to break. I'm sticking with my RWD M2 - simpler, cheaper to maintain, and more fun.
