Re: BMW's Humanoid Robots Replace Workers - No Breaks, No Salary, No Benefits
One thing nobody's talking about - what happens when these robots break down or malfunction? That's downtime with zero production. The maintenance cost and complexity could end up being higher than keeping human workers around. Has anyone done the actual math?

Re: BMW's Humanoid Robots Replace Workers - No Breaks, No Salary, No Benefits
Has anyone considered the maintenance costs on these robots? They might not need salary, but those humanoid machines require constant servicing, software updates, repairs, and specialized technicians. I'd love to see the actual cost-benefit analysis BMW did before rolling this out.

Re: Toyota's 2027 WRC Prototype Hints at Exciting New GR Celica - What Do You Think?
Does anyone know the timeline for this? Would it actually arrive in 2027 or is that just the WRC prototype debut year? Big difference between a prototype showing up and an actual production model hitting dealerships.

The segment about influencer partnerships was really informative. Sam explained how PR teams vet and work with automotive influencers to ensure alignment with brand values. That's definitely a growth area in the industry.

Re: Tales From the Beat Episode 122: Sam Locricchio PR Maven Interview Discussion
Loved learning about the relationship between PR and journalism. It's a delicate balance that I hadn't really considered before. Sam explained it in a way that made it clear why PR people exist and why they're necessary, not just annoying gatekeepers.

I still maintain these are overpriced for what you get. The nostalgia factor artificially inflates values. You could get a better-built, more reliable classic for similar money.

Re: 1984 Bertone X1/9 Test Drive: Simply Delightful Classic
I disagree with the 'simply delightful' assessment. These cars were underpowered even for their time, and the reliability issues are well-documented. The interior quality was subpar, and you're paying vintage car prices for something that isn't particularly special.

I've heard the i3 is a great electric car. Any experiences with these?
