Whether it's plate #1 or just a special MA250 plate, the concept is cool. Massachusetts has a ton of automotive history, so commemorative plates make sense. $60 seems fair for a limited edition plate anyway.

Has anyone actually purchased one of these MA250 plates yet? Would be interesting to hear from someone who has one and what the experience was like. Do they hold any resale value?

The maintenance cost implications are important here. If they're cutting support for certain models or brands, that could make repairs much more expensive for owners. Independent parts suppliers might not have inventory, and service centers will close in some regions.

What worries me is if they cut too much. You need a diverse portfolio to survive market swings. Going all-in on EVs could backfire if consumer demand shifts unexpectedly.

The engine options are what sold me on this generation. More power, better efficiency than before. Really solid upgrade from my 2022 Escalade.

The infotainment system alone justifies the cost in my opinion. Much faster, more intuitive, and the voice commands actually work now.
