Does anyone know the maintenance costs on that one with all the custom work? I feel like keeping something that heavily modified would be a nightmare to service.

Maintenance costs aside, I wonder about parts availability for the heavily modified ones. That's got to be a real issue down the line.

Track performance numbers are legitimately world-class. The lap times they're putting up compete with six-figure supercars. That's the real story here - capability at this price point is unprecedented.

The handling characteristics seem to be the real highlight. All that power would be useless if the chassis couldn't manage it. Sounds like the ZR1X finally achieves perfect balance between straight-line speed and cornering grip.

I found the ride to be quite firm. Not sure if I'd like that for long drives.
