The 4-speed manual is the way to go. You won't regret it. The engagement you get with a manual in a classic like this is unmatched. Modern automatics are fast but they lack soul.

One question - does it come with the original documentation and build sheet? Those are pretty valuable with vintage Corvettes and add legitimacy to the specifications.
