Comparing this to the new Chevrolet Corvette Z06 makes more sense to me. You get similar performance obsession but with more practicality for less money. Unless you're specifically drawn to the Lotus brand heritage, hard to justify the premium.

I disagree with the hype here. Corvettes are already incredible performers right out of the box. This whole ECU tuning thing just feels like people chasing numbers they don't need. The cars are fine as they are.

Technical achievement or not, I still think it's unnecessary. The stock performance is already ridiculous. But I respect people who want to push their cars further - just do it carefully.

I'm not convinced Mercedes can make a compelling city car. They're usually more about luxury and performance.
