Re: Check Out This 2000 BMW Z8 Photo Gallery - Classic Sports Car
Those leather interiors look amazing but they're a nightmare to maintain. Plus the electronics in these older cars can get temperamental. Factor all that into the true cost of ownership.

The Z8 is gorgeous, no question about it. But have you looked into the maintenance costs? These things are expensive to keep running. Parts are rare and labor costs are brutal. Ownership isn't for the faint of heart.

Performance variants always sound exciting until ownership costs kick in. Tires, brakes, suspension parts for a specialized performance line? Way more expensive than standard Rivian parts.

Re: Rivian's New RAD Division - Game Changer or Marketing Gimmick?
The maintenance cost on these RAD variants is going to be astronomical. High-performance electric drivetrains require specialized service, and if Rivian's dealer network isn't fully established yet, owners could be in for a world of hurt when warranty expires.

Re: Chinese Brand Chery Planning to Launch Pickup Trucks in Australia - Game Changer?
What about maintenance costs though? That's the real question for any new entrant. If you need to import parts or wait months for service, that could be a dealbreaker. Parts availability will make or break them in the Australian market.

Re: Chinese Brand Chery Planning to Launch Pickup Trucks in Australia - Game Changer?
Maintenance costs are going to be critical. Even if the purchase price is lower, if servicing costs more or takes longer due to parts issues, buyers will quickly regret their choice. This is my main concern with Chinese newcomers.

I've had a Q5 in the past and loved it. The virtual cockpit is amazing. How are you finding it?
