I'm skeptical about the M2 xDrive. Part of the appeal of M2 is the pure rear-wheel drive engagement. Adding xDrive feels like diluting what makes it special. Not every car needs all-wheel drive.

Look, I get why BMW is doing this, but it feels like they're chasing trends instead of staying true to their heritage. Not every vehicle needs to be compromised with AWD.
