I completely disagree with this premise. Modern automatic transmissions, especially PDK and DCT systems, are objectively faster than manuals. These numbers must be cherry-picked or from older manual cars with better tuning. Physics doesn't lie.

Yeah, I'm sticking with my position. Automatic transmissions, particularly DCT systems, are faster and more efficient. Any manual transmission car being quicker is probably due to different engine tuning or displacement, not the transmission type itself.
